Inscription Engraving
Inscription engraving is included in the price of each article excluding medals.
For glassware the price includes engraving an inscription and/or logo on one surface/position. Engraving on additional surfaces will incur an additional charge. There is no limit to the number of characters per surface/position.
Inscription engraving on all other items, excluding medals, allows for up to 30 letters in a font and style of our choosing. Additional letters will be charged at 6 pence per letter on trophy plates and 25 pence per letter on other items.
Medal prices do not include engraving but they can be engraved for a maximum charge of 6 pence per letter. If you have quantities of medals with the same or similar engraving the price will be less than this. Please ask for a quotation.
We can engrave inscriptions to a font of your choosing but this may incur an extra engraving charge.
Standard Sports Scenes
When adding products to your basket you have the ability to select a standard sport scene to have engraved on the article. Examples of the standard sports scenes are shown in the list below. It should be noted that the engraved effect varies dependant upon the article being engraved. With glass engraving the effect is a grey tone finish, with metal engraving a line drawing effect is achieved.
Company Logos and Club Badges
We can engrave company logos and club badges on most of our products. The method used to engrave logos on glass differs from that used to engrave metals and plastics. If you provide your artwork in a black and white, vectorised file format (dxf; plt; cdr version 7.0 or earlier), there may be no artwork origination charges. Other file types such as jpg, bmp, tif, etc are pixel based and as such will incur an artwork origination charge. This charge is a one off charge of £25.00 for glass engraving and/or £25.00 for metal/plastic engraving. Further orders utilizing the same logo/badge, being engraved on the same material, would not incur this charge.
Engraving Methods
All engraving is performed in house utilising manual pantograph systems; computerised rotary and diamond drag engraving; and grit blasting techniques. With these methods we are able to engrave on wood; metals; slate; plastic and glass.
